DJ MsPackMan, aka Anna Pack, is a professional DJ from Manhattan, NYC currently living in Brooklyn. She is one of the many DJs that started spinning during the pandemic of 2020. As a former drummer, bass guitar and violin player, music has always been a strong passion for MsPackMan.
Growing up listening to 90s house music, Anna has been heavily influenced by her father’s love for music. Anna is a house music focused DJ with some melodic afro house, classic disco feels, and hype tech house sprinkled in for flavor.
The username MsPackMan isn’t spelled wrong. In fact, it comes from fusing Anna’s love for retro video games with her last name: Pack.
Having played at NYC venues such as Silo in Bushwick, Arlo at The Williamsburg Water Tower, and Virgo in Manhattan, she has quickly made herself known locally. MsPackMan has also played at the Calling All Magical People music festival in 2024. She is available for bookings in the NYC area.

A passion for House Music
My passion for house music extends to various genres that I play.
Afro House
Afro House is the musical baby of kwaito, tribal, deep and soulful house music that is heavily derived from South Africa.
House
House music is the oldest genre within electronic dance music and still one of its main pillars today. House music was named after “The Warehouse” nightclub in Chicago’s South Side. It is a direct descendant from disco music, rising to prominence in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s when the disco era ended.
Tech House
The term tech house developed as a shorthand record store name for a category of electronic dance music that combined musical aspects of techno, such as “rugged basslines” and “steely beats”, with the harmonies and grooves of progressive house.
EDM / Dance
Electronic dance music is a broad range of percussive electronic music genres originally made for nightclubs, raves, and festivals.
Disco / NuDisco
Disco is a genre of dance music and a subculture that emerged in the 1970s from the United States’ urban nightlife scene.
Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African-American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres.
